We have a space at 6050 Lowell Street in Oakland. The organization is run by our Officers, appointed by our Board. We are a California Non-Profit Corporation as of September 23rd, 2010. Our IRS 501(c)(3) paperwork is being drafted.
AMT is dedicated towards education, hacking, and maker culture. We look to provide opportunities for people to learn new skills and to educate themselves in a hands-on, immersive manner. We also provide an equipped shop and workspace for our members to collaboratively work on projects. As AMT develops, we will be offering more classes and workshops for the public as well as our existing members.
We have regular meetings every Thursday at 7:30 PM that are open to anyone who wishes to visit. In addition, any other events listed on the calendar to the right are open to the public. If you'd like to visit at other times, hop on our mailing list or IRC channel and ask. For member access, we have a system for access control.
Join our IRC channel on freenode, #acemonstertoys, and the mailing list to get involved!
